I was able to scan the only known copies of the Army War College's 1940 pre-WWII Garand Plates. There are actually eight plates in all, but this one is one of the most interesting. Beautiful and in color to boot! Go to: http://www.nicolausassociates.com/M1_Garand.htm. Scroll down until you see "Color M1 Garand "Gas Port" Rifle Drawing / Plate".

U.S. Air Force Patriotic Poster
I occasionally teach at the local U.S. Air Force JROTC unit at Jefferson High School in Jefferson, Georgia. It's ALWAYS interesting to talk to today's youth about their future. Occasionally, one of these young men and women will ask "what it was like" being in the military "way back" when I was on active duty for nearly 26 years. As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words! This is what it was like when I joined?!?! The poster is one of several I have restored and is available at: http://www.nicolausassociates.com/Patriotic.htm.
